Our EYFS Vision
‘Learning, growing
and succeeding together’
Intent Statement
Our school vision statement
'Learning, growing
and succeeding together'
underpins our culture and ethos
in the Early Years
at Whitnash Primary School.
We are passionate about children
being happy, confident
and kind individuals
with a love for learning.
We believe that the
Early Years Foundation Stage
is crucial in securing solid foundations
that children continue to build upon
throughout their school life.
It is our aim that the children
who enter our EYFS develop physically,
verbally, cognitively and emotionally
whilst embedding a positive attitude
to school and learning.
We provide an engaging curriculum
that maximizes opportunities
for meaningful cross-curricular links
and learning experiences, as well as
promoting the unique child by offering
extended periods of play
and sustained thinking.
This is facilitated by warm,
skillful adult interactions
which support the children
as they link learning to their play
and exploration, and builds on each individual child’s
needs and interests.
We work in partnership with our families,
previous settings and other external
agencies to provide the best possible start
at Whitnash Primary School.
We believe that all children deserve to be
valued as an individual and we are
passionate in allowing all learners
to achieve their full, unique potential
from their various starting points.

We're Going to Find the Monster!
by Malorie Blackman and Dapo Adeola
