School Uniform
We encourage all parents to dress
their children in school uniform.
We believe that by wearing the school
uniform children are encouraged
to take a pride
in belonging to the school.
Boys
Grey/black trousers or shorts
Blue/white polo shirt
Burgundy sweatshirt
with or without the school logo
Girls
Grey/black skirt, trousers or pinafore dress
Blue/white polo shirt
Burgundy sweatshirt or cardigan
with or without the school logo
During the summer girls may wear
blue and white check dresses.
Shoes
All children should wear black or navy blue shoes suitable for the active life in school
(no high/wedged heels or trainers please).
Sandals of a safe and sensible design
may be worn during the summer.
A selection of second-hand school uniform
is available in the school entrance.
Jewellery
For the sake of your child's safety,
jewellery should not be worn in school
with the exception of a watch
and plain gold or silver stud earrings.
These are to be removed
for swimming or PE by the child.
If earrings cannot be removed
then they should be covered by plasters.
Nail varnish should not be worn.
If your child comes to school
wearing nail varnish,
you will be asked to remove it
for the following day.
Long hair should be tied back.
Physical Education plays an important
part of the school week.
It is important for children to have
the correct kit for their PE lessons.
PE
Black shorts
Plain white T-Shirt
Dark coloured jogging bottoms
and sweatshirt for the winter
Trainers/plimsolls
(Velcro fastening recommended
for younger children)
PE kit should be kept in a small named drawstring bag which can be hung
from your child's coat peg.
We do not have storage room
for larger sports bags
PE bags can be purchased from school.
At times we may ask children to come
to school dressed in the correct PE kit
on their allocated PE day/s.
However, there also may be times
children are expected to have their kit
in school to change into.
This will be communicated accordingly.
Please ensure that all clothing
is permanently labelled
with your child's name.
Children need to cover studs
in their ears with plasters.
Rings, bracelets or necklaces
are not permitted.
All jewellery must be removed
for PE for safety reasons.
