What we are learning
What we are reading
We're Going on a
Bear Hunt
by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury
Follow a father and his family
as they go out in search of a bear.
They wade through the grass,
splash through the river, squelch through
the mud and even negotiate
a snowstorm on their way.
But what will await them in the cave
on the other side of the dark forest?

Roald Dahl Day
Key Stage One had lots of fun today visiting Wonka’s Testing Lab. They used their Super Science skills to make observations and find answers to questions to help Willie Wonka make some new attractions for his Chocolate Factory. They….
Tested chocolate to see which was best to make a river.
Tested Gummy Bears to see if they could make them grow.
Used skittles to make rainbow water for a rainbow waterfall.
And tried to make floating boats from Starbust sweets.
What can your child remember about it? Why not ask them?
